The It Takes Two Project
This project involved a family of four who found themselves in need of an additional bathroom. With only one bathroom available, it became clear that a second one was necessary - specifically one for the primary bedroom and one for the girls to enjoy. To address this, our team stepped in and utilized the existing bathroom, along with a portion of the primary bedroom, to create two fully functional bathrooms that would meet the family's needs. The first bathroom - a dream come true for any little girl. The design features a delightful pink and teal color scheme with a captivating floral theme. We carefully selected an accent wallpaper that established the color palette, which was then echoed in the shower curtain, tile, and decor. One striking feature of this space is our intentional use of mixed metals, combining chrome and gold elements for a visually stunning effect. Moving on to Mom and Dad's bathroom, we aimed for a minimalist and sophisticated aesthetic. The design centers around a simple yet elegant subway tile, with a creative backsplash layout that adds a touch of visual interest. To further enhance the overall ambiance, we chose a hexagon floor tile that exudes a sense of serenity. The result is a calm and tranquil space, providing the perfect environment for Mom and Dad to prepare for the day ahead, separate from the bustling activity of their children. Overall, this project showcased our team's expertise in maximizing the existing footprint of a home to create functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces. With careful attention to detail and a commitment to fulfilling our clients' needs, we were able to bring their vision to life. The before and after transformation is truly remarkable, and we are proud to have played a part in enhancing the functionality and beauty of this family's home.
