The Light-Filled Retreat New Build

We transformed this East Longmeadow, MA new build into an open-concept home that feels both inviting and effortlessly luxurious. The open flow brings ease and connection to the living spaces, but also presented challenges that we tackled with smart design solutions. One standout feature is the redesigned pantry storage. By redrawing the builder’s plans, we added much-needed space, keeping the kitchen organized and clutter-free, without compromising style. The built-in shelves are more than just storage. We styled them with a mix of carefully chosen pieces that add character and warmth to the living room, while still making the space functional for everyday life. Lighting throughout the home serves dual purposes: it brightens each room while adding a decorative touch. From the bold pendant lights in the kitchen to the sophisticated chandelier in the entry, each fixture brings something special to the design. Tech-savvy meets elegant with the addition of power shades, which open and close with the rhythm of the day or at scheduled times, giving the homeowners effortless control over light and privacy. To soften the space, we layered in custom drapery that adds a cozy warmth and helps insulate for comfort. It’s these small touches that make a big difference in creating a space that feels truly lived-in. The primary suite offers a serene escape, featuring a dreamy custom closet—one designed to fit the needs of the homeowners while offering ample space. And the primary bathroom?
