One of our recent projects involved a complete transformation of a traditional dining room in Southwick. The client loved the existing chocolate-colored walls but wanted to modernize the space to match the contemporary feel of the rest of their home. The challenge was to create a cohesive design that utilized the room's unique pentagon shape while enhancing its elegance and functionality.
We began by selecting a round table to complement the room's shape, avoiding the awkwardness that a rectangular or square table would introduce. This table, Italian-made with beautiful veneers, became the centerpiece of the room. To pair with the table, we chose custom-made chairs featuring a two-tone fabric design – a strong patterned fabric on the back and a softer fabric on the inside – creating a striking yet harmonious look.
The drapery was another critical element in this transformation. The existing drapes were replaced with floor-to-ceiling panels that emphasized the room's 12-foot ceilings, giving the space a more grandiose feel. We also used a ripple fold drapery panel style to create soft, elegant folds that mirrored the curves of the dining chairs. The final touch was the artwork – large, bold pieces that added color and personality to the room.
Our client was thrilled with the result, especially how the new design allowed the dining room to seamlessly flow with the rest of their modern home. The use of mixed neutrals – chocolate brown, gray, and taupe – along with pops of navy and gold, created a sophisticated and inviting atmosphere perfect for entertaining.

Another remarkable project in Southwick was the redesign of a spacious family room overlooking a stunning golf course. The original setup focused on the television, neglecting the beautiful view and making the room feel cramped despite its size. Our goal was to open up the space and make it both glamorous and functional.
We started with a bold color palette inspired by a rich plum shade, complemented by touches of gold for a luxurious feel. The furniture layout was reimagined to create a U-shaped seating area that balanced the two focal points – the TV and the view. Custom swivel chairs allowed for flexible seating arrangements, enabling the family to enjoy intimate conversations, watch TV, or take in the view with ease.
To highlight the room's 12-foot ceilings, we used larger-scale furniture pieces, including a 48-inch round cocktail table and custom-made chairs with bold fabric and gold nailhead accents. The drapery played a crucial role in framing the windows and accentuating the height of the room. Wide panels with gold ribbon under the crown molding added a touch of elegance while enhancing the vertical space.
The finished room was a perfect blend of functionality and style, with strategically placed bold colors and metallic finishes that tied the entire design together. The client appreciated how the new layout made the room feel more open and inviting, and the sophisticated design elements added a touch of glamour to their home.

The modern elegance of this home was immediately apparent from the outset, thanks to the exquisite architectural details and carefully curated existing pieces. We wholeheartedly embraced this theme, beginning in the open-concept family room where we drew inspiration from the captivating plum accent wall. To accentuate the grandeur of the 12-foot ceilings, we strategically positioned the drapery panels above the windows, introduced motorized Hunter Douglas Silhouettes, and incorporated tasteful touches of purple and gold throughout the space. The family room seamlessly transitions into the gold, cream, and silver living room, which exudes a sophisticated charm.
